Hi, I’m Katie!
First and foremost, I am a wife and mother. I have three sweet yet wild children that keep me busy with their daily antics and activities. My husband and I enjoy golfing and skiing as well as a quiet night at home with sushi and a movie. My favorite hobbies include experimenting in the kitchen; baking and decorating sugar cookies. Bushel & a Peck Cookies is my other small business where I share my passion for cookie decorating by hosting classes or workshops around town.
I am professionally educated in the sciences with a Master's degree in occupational therapy but have found in the mess and stress of adulthood that I thrive in the creative arts! For me, photography started as a way to capture my own babies’ chubby cheeks and goofy grins but over the last eight years I have found that I love giving the gift of memories to others as well. For now you may look at these photos as a way to check another box of things that need to get done: senior portraits - check, holiday card photos - check! But what I know to be true is that these images will one day be looked upon by your grandchildren and great-grandchildren! Maybe with a few giggles about our current hairstyles or fashion trends, but mostly they will see the love and emotion between a husband and wife, between siblings, and they will come to know a little more about your story through these photographs.
Why the name “All’s Well Photography”? The motto “all’s well” is linked to my maternal family crest. Since its origin in England, “A'll’s well” has been used by my family as a greeting, on license plates and even a name for a boat. What better way to honor my family’s tradition than as the name of my small business.
